Hot Pants

Hot Pants' Can Design and Event Coordination

A Label That Dances in Light

Unleashing a spectacle of retro flair, the 'Hot Pants' Double IPA emerged from a unique collaboration between Battery Steele Brewing and Goodfire Brewing Co. This project was a technicolor dance of creativity, resulting in not just a beer, but an entire experience wrapped in a can.

The 'Hot Pants' label is where nostalgia meets modern brilliance. My design journey embraced the soul of a roller disco, translating it onto Glitter BOPP for a label that pulsates with life. The vibrant hues of fuchsia and electric blue are reminiscent of a time when disco balls spun light into magic, while the sleek roller skates and bold typography pay homage to an era of fearless fun. This label doesn't just whisper; it shouts from the shelves with a voice dipped in glitter and groove.

From Concept to Can to Celebration

Beyond the can, the project's heart beat in The Thirsty Pig, where the “Beer Drinkers Disco Ball” transformed a can release into a full-fledged celebration. I was instrumental in orchestrating this event, ensuring every element echoed the 'Hot Pants' ethos. From planning to execution, we mirrored the effervescence of our brew in every detail, creating an unforgettable night that had Portland, Maine, grooving to the rhythm of clinking glasses.

'Hot Pants' was more than a project; it was a testament to the power of collaborative craftsmanship. It was an honor to work with some of Portland's finest, channeling our collective energy into a product that's as dazzling to look at as it is to taste. This experience has been a highlight of my professional journey, showcasing my ability to blend design with event planning to design moments that resonate with community spirit and brand identity.

Let's raise a glass to innovation, collaboration, and the undeniable allure of 'Hot Pants'. Cheers to the next chapter of design that dares to make a statement!
